Combining Precision and Manufacturability
Combining precision with ease of fabrication and assembly, our mechanical engineers create prototype and production product designs, as well as a variety of tooling and assembly fixtures.
Utilizing SolidWorks and CREO software, Greenlight’s mechanical engineers turn computer optical designs into real products. Each engineer has over a decade of design and hands-on experience including opto-mechanical assemblies, plastic molded lenses and mounts, mount and fixture machining and injection mold design. Thermal considerations, environmental conditions, and vibration and stress are all considered and addressed during the design process.
With lens fabrication, mount machining, and molding capabilities in-house, Greenlight’s mechanical engineers work closely with the manufacturing technicians and engineers to ensure that every design can be built. Our designers quickly and effectively address any issues or questions that come up during prototype or production manufacturing.
