HR Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Human Resources professional to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function within our organization, including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, employee relations, benefits management, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company by developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Hiring
- Manage and oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Working closely with the Greenlight Optics management team, identify hiring needs and define job roles, responsibilities, and qualification requirements
- Post, screen, and conduct interviews with potential candidatesEngage with outplacement programs at local trade schools/colleges to find intern, co-op, seasonal/part time and eventually full-time workers
- Handle the new hire paperwork / logistics
- Generate offer letters, W-4s, I-9s, 401K, HSA, Health Insurance, Payroll Set up, etc
- Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation
Administrative
- Administer and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Oversee and manage the employee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Help with conflict resolution and maintaining a positive workplace environment
- Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace investigations
- Take an active role in employee training and help maintain records as part of our quality system
Strategic
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure employee growth and development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR roleIn-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
